This disorder is called phosphaturia, i.e., the emission of phosphates. It is caused by indigestion. Fasting for a couple of days or living on fruits can clear the condition. Take boiled vegetables and fruits and no lentils. Also take exercise regularly. TOP Q.8. I have rheumy eyes for the last two years; I clean them every two hours, but the discharge accumulates again. Can you suggest something for it? Ans. Rice, wheat, millets, as a matter of fact, all the cereals add to the amount of phlegm or mucus in the body. It is only vegetables, particularly greens, and fruit which can clear this condition. Eat more of them and less of cereals. Exercise is also a must. Wash the eyes frequently with cold water.

Take sunbath and give the pride of place to fruits and vegetables in your diet. The bone structure must
remain elastics if one is to become taller. You must take exercise regularly. I
suggest the following exercises which will help you gain height: 2. Stand with your arms straight at right angles to your body. Lift the arms vertically and then bring them to the level of the shoulders. Do not exhale in the process, but stand on your toes, lifting your heels as far as they will go. Exhale slowly after some moments and resume the earlier position. 3. Extend your arms forward up to the level of the shoulders. In hale and fill your lungs to about on third of their capacity. Wait for a few moments and then take your arms above your head. Now move them in a circular motion taking them behind your back and in the former position again. Exhale slowly. 4. Stand straight with your shoulders pulled back slightly. Interlace the fingers of both hands and support the back of your neck on your palms. Now lower your head so that your chin touches your chest. Remain in that position for some moments and then move your head ad far back as it will go. The pressure of the hands will be less than that of the palms. 5. Lie on your back on the floor with your arms at your sides touching the floor. Relax all the muscles of your body and try to expand your waist, the buttocks and the shoulders. Extent your feet like the claws of a beast, pull your head and shoulders upwards and expand your chest. Remain in that position and then exhale after some moments. Rest for a few moments and repeat the process but keep your hands under your head this time. Keep your feet fixed and take hold of something with your hands and in that position pull your body from the toes to the head. Repeat the procedure after resting for a few moments. This exercise will strengthen your spine. 6. Stand with your back to the back of a chair. Hold the chair with both hands. Raise your right leg slowly using the back of the chair as support. See that the leg does not bend at the knee. Hold the leg in that position and bring it back slowly. Repeat the exercise with your left let. This exercise will give strength to your feet and the back. 7. Hang something on the ceiling. Now raise your self on your toes and try to touch it with your hands. Jump if you have to but keep 5the head back. Your back should remain straight as you take the jump. Repeat the exercise many times. TOP Q.14. How does one go about treating filarial and hydro seal? Both the diseases are endemic in Gaya and Patna. Arms and leg swell to elephantine proportions in filarial. Ans. All diseases are the same caused by the same factor. And that is unnatural living. The only cure is a natural life. Both the diseases are caused by milled rice. Most of the people in the area have a diet which consists mainly of this rice which is devoid of natural salts and vitamins. Synthetic vitamins are not without their disadvantages. Vitamin B is to be found in green vegetables particularly amaranth us polygamous (chaulaai), fenu Greek (methi), carrots, tomatoes, rose apple (jamun), guava, pumpkin, cabbage, raisins, ground nuts, wheat, lentils and cow’s milk. If you take these substances there is no need for vitamin B pills. TOP Q.17. How do you deal with Prolapsus of the rectum among children? Ans. Generally people do not pay sufficient attention to children’s health. Dried stool due to constipation force a child to strain too much and the rectum is displaced from its natural position. Such children must be asked to visit the toilet at fixed timings in the morning and evening and should be made to take water in adequate quantities. The diet of the children should be such that their bowels are not constipated. A mud pack applied to the rectum for half an hour thrice or four times daily can deal with the Prolapsus of the affected part.
